Mary Dorothy Bladen was born in April of 1928 in Uniontown PA. In 1955 she married Marvin Bladen, in Arlington, Virginia. Mary and Marvin staffed the ambulance at Jessup for 12 to 15 years and were a dynamite EMT team. Mary was a very important part of the growth of the Jessup Volunteer Fire Department, and was a strong part of our ambulance development and great supporter of all our activities, and this in itself will be greatly missed, especially her positive attitude and smile. Mary loved dancing and singing and I am told she had a beautiful voice. Mary was retired from NSA. Later in her life Mary enjoyed working puzzles. Mary and Marvin had two lovely daughters. Mary passed away on Saturday, 11/5/2011, after a long illness. She is survived by her husband Marvin; daughters Suzanne Speiser and her husband William, and Nancy Morell and her husband Robert, and granddaughters Lauren and Mary Morell.
